I like traveling very much. It can help me relax. But the most important thing is that I can learn1 from traveling.

    Last October, I traveled to England and experienced life in a British school. The teachers and students there were very nice and helpful. School starts at 8:20 am and ends at 5 pm, a lot longer than Macao's(澳门的)six hours.

The weather in England was very cold. On the first day, it was only 3⁰C! We had to wear thick jackets. The weather in Macao at the time was much warmer.

Many of the lessons are very similar to those of Macao. There are math, science and other usual classes. They even have Chinese, although it's very simple. It was also my favorite class during my stay there, because I knew everything already and could help other students.

There is a very large farm on the school campus(校园), There are many plants and animals there, We saw pigs, sheep, goats, and more! This was very different from the high buildings in Macao.

The school campus is large. Even though it only has about 300sudents, the grounds are still a lot bigger than my school with over 1, 000 students. They even have a swimming pool where kids can have fun after school!

I had a great time at the Abbotsholme School. If I could go there again, I would be very happy.

Technology(技术)has made life easier. For example, we can pay for things with our smart phones. But there are still many problems, such as environmental problems.

Factory emissions(工厂排放物)make the air bad. Air pollution can bring many illnesses. The water in many rivers is also polluted. We hardly ever see fish in the river now. Instead, there are plastic(塑料）bags, rubbish and dead animals' bodies. The sky isn't blue and the river isn't clean any more. We should do something for the earth. But how?

Maybe technology can help us again. For example, new energy cars don't have any emissions. They use electricity(电力). If more people drive new energy cars, we can help reduce pollution.

For water pollution, I heard that scientists have made a kind of machine that can clean water. Scientists have also found a kind of germ(微生物)that can help break down(分解)plastic.

Technology is important in protecting the environment. But I think what's more important is not to harm the environment in the first place. Save the world, starting from you and me.

The first stage(阶段):A butterfly (蝴蝶)puts its eggs on the leaf. However, not all the eggs can live. Only twenty out of the five hundred eggs can live.

The second stage: After two weeks, worms(虫子)come out of the eggs. The worms are hungry so they eat their own eggshells(卵壳)and the leaf! Some die from eating their first meal.

The third stage: After three weeks, the worms can eat a whole leaf in less than an hour. Then they start to make another shell, and this is their new home.

The fourth stage: Here comes the pupa(蛹)stage. The worms stay in the pupa shells. At first they are soft, but then they turn harder. This way, the butterflies stay safe inside.

The fifth stage: In about a month, the pupa shell breaks open. It takes the butterflies a couple of hours before they can fly. Look at their beautiful wings!

Once a man was shipwrecked(遭遇海难)on a small lonely island.       So he hoped that someone could come to save him. Every day he watched the sea, but no ships ever appeared. The man grew sad.

He thought he should do something to save himself.        But one day, after looking for food, he arrived home to find his little house on fire. The smoke(烟)rose to the sky. The worst had happened and everything was lost.       "God, how could you do this to me?"

Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship. This ship was getting close to the island. It had come to save him.
