    Experts say that students usually need eight to ten hours' sleep at night, but most Chinese do not get 1 sleep. Some Chinese parents are usually glad to see their children studying late.     Improv (即兴表演) is a kind of acting that is done without 1 started improv last year and I really enjoy it 2 its spontaneous(自然的) nature.

    Last school year, we did improv performance(表演)the day before Mother's Day.3 the day, we were excited to see 4 we could do on stage. We each had cards with different topics given to us by the audience (观众). My 5 was school, so I said that my mom is like school because although she stresses(使紧张)me out a lot, she is 6 I will miss when I leave. Everyone laughed.

    Performing in front of 7 and getting interactive (互动的) reactions (反应) was fun. Audiences give us reactions that can affect(影响) our performance. Once, I performed as an angry man, but I laughed 8 and that performance got a lot of laughter from the audience.

    Our acting teacher said our performance was 9, which made us all feel great. Although have a lot of schoolwork to do, I still plan on taking part in improv. It is a great way to forget the stress from school and be 10.

    Here, a reporter is interviewing the 12-year-old singer, Mara Justine, who's one of the youngest contestants of America's Got Talent.

    Reporter: Why did you choose to compete on America's Got Talent instead of one of the other singing competitions?

    Mara: Well, America's Got Talent actually called me because I had auditioned before, when I was 9 or 10. I guess they looked over those videos. They asked me to audition again.

    Reporter: How does it feel to be one of the youngest people on the show?

    Mara: There are a lot of other people with more experience .,but I just try to do my best .I always go on to the stage thinking good thoughts, never bad thoughts.

    Reporter: Who is your role model or idol(偶像) ? What inspires you?

    Mara: For singing, my idols are Aretha Franklin and Christina Aguilera, but a role model to me would be my mom. I love her with all my heart—she encourages me to believe in my dreams.

    Reporter: What are your other hobbies?

    Mara: I love playing video games, and I usually go to the park with my family. We usually play basketball. We also like to play tennis!

    In the US. There are some things that kids really must have. What are they? Food or friends? Lip salve (唇膏) or iPod? What is the most important thing in US teenagers' lives today? Lets take a look.

    With others, food always comes first. Bust my biggest need is my friends. Without them, I wouldn't do much.
