    A Spring Morning

    This poem was written      Meng Haoran (689~740), who       (live) during the Tang Dynasty.

    It might be one of the most famous       (poem) about spring in China. People like       (read) it when they wake up on a spring morning.

    Meng didn't directly say how much he loved spring. Instead, he wrote about the details (细节) of      season: the bids, wind, rain showers and       (fall) flowers. His descriptions (描述) of these things showed       (we) the joy he felt during springtime.

    Meng chose to write about the sounds of spring. These sounds allow readers       (picture) spring using their own imagination.

    Walt Whitman was a famous American poet (诗人). He was born1May 31, 1819, in Long Island. There were nine2in his family, and he was the second.3he was four years old, his family moved to Brooklyn because his family was too poor.
