    The Earth is our home and we must take good      (careful) of it. That is to say we must keep the land, air and water clean. Many years ago, pollution      (be) not so serious      the population of the Earth was not so      (large) as today. There was enough fresh air, good agricultural land and clean water. When the land or the river was dirty and      (pollute) in one place, men left there and moved to another place. People are polluting       whole world now. In some aspects, it seems that the more people there are in one place, the      (bad) environment they may live in. Perhaps you are worried that it is endless      people to produce pollution.       (Lucky), more and more people have come to know the danger of pollution.     Many people are trying to save the earth with special days like "Meatout Day", "Earth Day" and "Buy Nothing Day".

    Meatout Day

    "Meatout Day" is on March 20th.      Join this day, and you'll get healthier. Also, you can reduce greenhouse gases (减少温室气体) and save the earth.

    Earth Day

          Many people all over the world try to do something green on this day. In Italy, people don't use plastic bags. In Canada and Norway, people ride bicycles and don't use their cars. In the USA, people dress up like plants and animals and dance in Times Square, New York.

    Buy Nothing Day

    "Buy Nothing Day" is usually on the fourth Friday in November.      "Buy Nothing" means "make no rubbish".
