    On Children's Day，Hong Kong      a special activity. In this activity，some children and their parents acted as the poor. At dinner，the rich could have delicious food while the      could only have bread with porridge.

    We surveyed 300 young people on what they like to do at weekends. One hundred people are from the ages of 1-18，one hundred 19-26 and one hundred 27-35. The following shows their answers：

    Neighbourhood yentas are well-known women. They spend most of their time1people around them. The yentas have this title for this. "Yenta" is a Yiddish(犹太人的)word. It means a trouble maker or a talkative(喜欢说话的)person. 2in the street is safe from their eyes or tongue.

    Yentas certainly are not bad people. They pass on messages(信息)and 3. They give up-to-the minute weather reports. They know who is doing what. They se，hear，and know all and usually4it. They have called themselves reporter.

    Chinese knot-making is one of China's folk hand-made arts. In Chinese, "knot" stands for friendliness, warmth, love and so on, and Chinese knots are often used to express(表达)good wishes.

    Chinese knot-making has a long history. It appeared first long long ago. And at that time, knots were used to record events. It was developed in the Tang and Song Dynasties and was popular in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

    Every Chinese knot is made of a single rope and is named after its special form and meaning. By combining knots skillfully, we will get a special and lucky ornament(装饰品).
