    Food is very important. Everyone needs to  1 well if he or she wants to have a strong body. Our 2 also need a kind of food. This kind of food is 3. We begin to get knowledge even when we are very young. Small children are 4 in everything around them. They 5 something while they are watching and listening. When they are getting older, they begin to 6 story books, science books ... anything they like. When they find something new, they love to ask questions and 7 to find out answers.     Many people have forgetfulness (健忘). And, yes, I was one of those forgetful people before. So I've had to develop some kinds of ways to improve it.

    How do you know you are forgetful?

    You know it: when people ask whether you've found the answers they wanted, but you can't recall them; if you often have trouble remembering where your keys are, or where you have parked your car in the parking lot; if you miss appointments (约定); or if you can never remember a person's name even a few seconds after being introduced.

    The following are some of my tips for fighting with forgetfulness.

    Can't find the keys. Right now get a small bowl (碗) and set it on a table in your kitchen. When you come back home, always put your keys in this bowl. The "key" to remembering where your keys are is to always put them back in the same place at once ever}r time you come back home.

    Can't find your car in the parking lot. I kept running into this problem until one day I solved it quite simply. Now I always park in the first or second row(排) to the left of the entrance (入口). That way, when I come out, I naturally start walking toward where my car is parked because it has become a habit.

    There is a big desert        our village and Hope Town. If you want to go to Hope Town, there are two        (way) for you. One is short but dangerous; the        is long but safe. Many people died in order        (get) to Hope Town sooner.

  “We need some trees in the desert,” said        old man. But soon all the young trees died out in the hot sun. “Don't        (worried). We can use them as our road signs,” said the old man，“Every time we walk along them，pull them upward so        we can still see them.”

   One day a businessman was walking to Hope Town. Some villagers gave him the        (advise).

  “Maybe it's the only time for me to come here. It doesn't matter to pull the dry trees upward        Not,” he thought. When he walked to the half-way point, a heavy wind came. In no time he        (lose) his way. And soon the poor businessman died!
