"It's about foreign relations and how we can build peaceful relationships throughout the world," Zuckerberg wrote for his book club, A Year of Books, on Facebook. "This is important for creating the world we all want for our children, and that's what I'm thinking about these days."

Not only is Factfulness by Hans Rosling one of Bill Gates' favorite books, but he also says it's one of the most important he has ever read. "It explains more clearly than almost anything else I've read why it's so difficult for people to understand progress," Gates said in an interview with Time.

Washington is home to lots of trees, fireplaces and wood-burning stoves (炉子) too. But what if you lived there and couldn't cut wood or couldn't afford to pay someone to do it? Luckily, Shane McDaniel and his twin sons, Harrison and Henry McDaniel, 21, are happy to give a hand. The three men cut truckloads of wood (数货车木头) and then give it to those in need.

It was too much for the McDaniels to use themselves, and when the weather turned cold that November, Shane started thinking of others. He posted (发帖子) on Facebook: "If you are in need of firewood and cannot afford it, please message me personally! If you know someone who burns wood, and they're living in a cold house this holiday season, please help me and my boys make sure no one goes cold in our neighbourhood."

The response (反响) was quick. One man offered to give a wood-burning stove. Others raced over to add wood for the McDaniels. Single mom Katelyn Ticer, 29, and her four-year-old daughter depend on a wood-burning stove as their only way of heat, so it was a great help to receive a truckload of firewood from the McDaniels before the holidays. "To get that much wood brought me to tears," she told msn.com. "So much pressure and worry is off my shoulders. I couldn't be more thankful."

Have you ever wondered why certain pop songs just make you feel so good? Researchers studying the question found that uncertainty and surprise give listeners the most pleasure. The study included 80,000 chords (和弦) in 745 pop songs between 1958 and 1991.

Each song was stripped of its melody (旋律) and lyrics (歌词) so that only chords were left and the results couldn't be misunderstood by other imaginations of the songs that listeners might have had.

They found two things. Listeners got great pleasure from unexpected chords when they knew what would happen. However, they still found it pleasant to hear familiar chords when they did not know what would follow.

Vincent Cheung, the lead researcher, said, "Pleasant songs are likely those which keep a good balance (平衡) between knowing what is going to happen next and surprising us with something we did not expect. Understanding how music starts our pleasure system in the brain could explain why listening to music might help us feel better when we are feeling blue."

Cheung told CNN that pleasure in music is connected to expectation. The study before had looked into the effects of surprise on pleasure, but his team's study also paid attention to the uncertainty of listeners' expectations.

Children should spend at least one hour playing and spending time in nature each day, according to the Wildlife Trusts (野生生物基金会). The UK organization speaks for 46 groups and 2,300 nature protection areas.

The calling comes from a study by University College London. Its 451 students in the study were 8 or 9 years of age.  The activities were run by the Wildlife Trusts over the course of several weeks, such as learning about plants and trees.

 And they also showed a sense of connection with the natural world and high levels of enjoyment. 90 percent said they learned something new about the natural world; 79 percent felt the experience would help their schoolwork;  Perhaps most importantly, 79 percent mentioned they would believe more in themselves.

However, parents on their own aren't giving kids that time.  A 2017 report found that less than 10 percent British kids enjoys themselves in nature, compared to 40 percent of adults when they were younger years ago. To improve the situation, the organization is calling on the government to free up a daily hour for nature time for kids.

With such a long history and rich culture, Egypt has always attracted me. However, I've had no plan of traveling to Egypt because of the stories I'd heard of women having 1experiences there. But later I 2 some writings about Cairo and I wanted to have a try there by myself. Then when my 3 came, I gave myself a birthday present and booked a 4to Cairo.

I spent 10 days in Egypt and, to my great 5, everything was fine and smooth, even if 6 at times.

I flew to Cairo at the end of April which I think is a pretty good time. The best times to visit Egypt are spring and autumn when the days are at their 7. The summers can get rather hot in Egypt, and 8 you visit in July or August, the heat is unbearable, making it difficult to 9.

Shanghai Disneyland said on Wednesday it would build the world's first Zootopia-themed (疯狂动物城为主题) land earlier this year.  Dec. 10, it started building its Zootopia-themed land,  will bring characters (人物) from the popular animated film (动画片) to the park, its operator said. Zootopia once broke China's box office records and (become) the country's No.1 animated film.
