    On the first day of a new term, 128 students of Morton High School were 3 home for wearing the wrong clothes. The number of the students in the school is 1,200. Usually only around 20 students break the school 4 rule. So the headmaster, Theresa Mayerik, said it was the 5 new term she had ever seen.

    At Morton High School, students' 6 clothing such as baggy(宽大的) trousers, low necked shirts and tank tops(紧身背心) are not allowed in classrooms.     Master P. is a famous rap star who wants to become a basketball player. Two NBA teams have invited him to join them. They enjoy listening to his music. An NBA player has become a rapper. He has made four successful rap albums(专辑).

    NBA has a closer connection to hip-hop than any other sports league.

    In China, many people are leaving the countryside to find jobs in the cities, because the countryside is much poorer than the city, and often there isn't much work there. Services such as hospital and transport(交通) are usually much better in the city than in the countryside. They hope that their lives will improve when they move to the city.

    But in the big cities of Europe like London or Paris, people are moving out of the city. These rich families want to live a quieter life. They are tired of the noise and the dirt(尘土) of the city, and they are tired of the crowded streets, crowded trains and buses. They don't want to live in the cities any more. They want a house with a garden in the countryside, and breathe the fresh air there.

    So they move out of the cities. Some don't go very far, just a little way out of the city, to the towns near the cities, other people move to the real countryside with sheep, cows and green fields. There, they start new lives and try to make new friends.

    Not all those who move from the city to the countryside are happy. After two or three years, many people who have done this feel that it was a big mistake. They don't make so much money and there isn't much work to do. People in the countryside are very different and aren't always very friendly.

    As a result, quite a lot of people who have moved to the countryside move back to the city. “It's wonderful to see crowds in the streets and cinema lights,” they say.

    The common Chinese greeting of "Ni chi le ma?" may soon be replaced(代替) by a new greeting: “Have you cleaned your plate?”

    The Clean Your Plate Campaign began on the Internet in January, 2013. It calls on people to reduce food waste. China in recent years has experienced serious problems with wasted food. CCTV reported in January that the food Chinese people waste every year is enough to feed 200 million people for a year.

    Chinese people are well-known for their friendly behavior towards guests. Many even feel that they lose face if their guests have eaten all the food.

    It's important for everyone to reduce food waste. However, wasting food is still a serious problem in China. We still have a long way to go.

    President Xi Jinping is encouraging people to be less wasteful, and he told Party members to cut back on wasteful holiday banquets(宴会). He said they should be more careful when spending the people's money.

    Tears come out of my eyes when I talk to my parents on the phone.        This is what I want to know most. I have supper at 5 o'clock in the dining room. Now it is the busiest time for my parents. Dad works from seven o'clock in the morning to nine o'clock in the evening, so all the housework is left to my mum.        Every day she gets up at 4 o'clock in the morning, and then works till dark.

    I promise her to study hard in the university because I am her hope.        I just want her to promise me that she can take care of herself and my dad because they are just like the blood in my body.

    In my family, everyone is equal. We are very happy to have meals together. Mum says that the happiest time for Dad and her is to see my sister and me come back home. He started       the violin when he was five. In 1994,he found(组建) the band No. 43 Baojia Street. Unluckily, the band finally        up and Wang Feng started his solo career(独唱生涯) Wang Feng writes his own songs. He once wrote a beautiful song        Our Dream” for Beijing Olympics in 2008.
