    On a cold November afternoon, my mother and I were walking back home from a pizza store. We had bought many things.     Just at this moment a man riding a horse came up to him. But the farmer was very disappointed (失望) when he saw who he was. It was the great man living nearby. The farmer had hoped to ask another farmer or a poor man like him.

    But to his surprise, the great man got off his horse as soon as he came near. He said to the farmer, “I see you need help, friend. How good it is that I'm here just at the right time.” Then he took one end of the bag, the farmer took the other. They together lifted and put it on the horse.

    “Sir,” asked the farmer, “how can I pay you?”

    “It's quite easy,” the great man answered with a smile, “wherever you see anyone else in trouble, do the same for him.”

    Do you have problems in your life and you don't know how to be happy? Maybe you, like most students, will say "ye". There are some ways to help you keep happy. First we should stop being angry and upset. Whoever you meet, you should try your best to find good things in him or her. Then you will be happy.

    Many teenagers think that happiness comes from doing well in an exam or being praised by other people. However, you can still be happy when there are no such "good" things. If you learn from problems and mistakes, happiness will come in the future.

    Some schoolboys have problems such as being too tall or too short. Just think that if you are tall, people will notice you, and you can get a better view at the movies.     A young American doctor was sleeping when suddenly his doorbell began to ring. It was already midnight, but what could the doctor do? He had to get up, put on his coat and go downstairs.
