Today is a fine day. Ted and is mother are in the park. They are very happy.

Ted sees a butterfly He wants to catch it. Now he is running on the grass.

"Don't run on the grass, Ted! It's not good. "Mum says.

"OK, Mum." Ted says.

Now Ted is eating a banana. He is littering. His mother says. "Don't litter, Ted! It's bad."

Ted says, "Sorry, Mum."

Ted is doing the right thing. His mother is happy. She says, "Good boy, Ted."

"Thank you, Mum."

A lovely weekend

It is a fine Saturday morning. Bob and his family get up later than usual, because he isn't going to school and his father and mother aren't going to work. They are all staying at home, but they are not idle (空闲的). Each of them is doing a different thing.

Bob's father is in the garage(车库). He is washing his car. His mother is in the kitchen(厨房). She is cooking a good meal for the family. Sometimes, Bob helps his mum with the cooking, and sometimes he goes to the garage and watches his father wash his car. His elder brother, Jack, usually stays in his study(书房) till lunchtime. His two sisters are listening to some beautiful music while they're cleaning the house. His younger brother, Tom, is training (训练)his puppy (小狗). He is having a lot of fun. Around 12:30, the whole family is seated around the table enjoying a wonderful meal.
